PRAY // Big sins and little sins. It’s easy to categorize sin into those two groups and minimize the “little” sin in our lives. Some of our sins seem so minor, but it’s important to realize that God hates sin—all sin. God hates sin because it separates us, hurts us, enslaves us, blinds us, and lessens our love for God. In other words, sin is the opposite of everything God is about. If you’re feeling trapped or enslaved by sin, the good news is that you don’t have to live that way any more. Tell God your sins and then ask Him to help you stay far from those sins going forward—both the big sins and the “little” ones. God hates sin, but He loves you and wants to help.
